Don’t dismiss any titles because of my personal preferences the book I dislike the most is VERY popular and loved by many. I ranked these from love to hate (😍: love, ☺️: like, 😕: meh, 👎: hate), but you should read my reasoning. Also, all the books have sex scenes, but some are PG-13 and don’t merit a steamy rating. Read my comments to find out if it actually made me laugh. To clarify, “😂” doesn’t mean I was laughing while reading, it just means that’s the “mood” the author was going for. Methodologyįirst off, almost all books mentioned in this post are cheesy 🧀, because The Hating Game is cheesy 🧀, so if you love The Hating Game, I’m going to safely assume you’re ok with cheese 🧀.Īll books have at least one of the traits I love about The Hating Game: fun/lighthearted (😂), steamy (🔥), enemies-to-lovers trope (🖤). Only share this post with those who understand. The Hating Game might be bad - but it’s sooooo goooood. I admit that The Hating Game doesn’t have the best writing (“lingerie straps and Smurf-patterned underwear peek out of drawers like lettuce from a burger” lmao), but I don’t care. Enemies-to-lovers trope 🖤 - I cannot resist! It’s so fun to see the characters bicker and tensions rise before they finally give into passion. It’s HOT and STEAMY 🔥 - obviously, there is a whole lotta sexy to this book. The Hating Game is so FUN! 😂 - the dialogue and plot is comical and SO ENTERTAINING (perfect if you’re in a rom-com mood).
